After recently purchasing the HP PhotoSmart Premium (HP 309) all in one we had a considerable amount of trouble getting it installed and operating. After spending over 10 hours with HP tech support and them eventually giving up and telling us to return the printer and a full refund would be given, we returned the printer. The drivers would install but for some reason, not completely. Some functions on the printer would not work and some of the additional software would not install. HP tech support even took over our machine online and could not get it to install properly. We were able to test some functions of the machine and found the printing to be very good and pretty fast. The touch screen worked as it should and was easy to operate. Too bad, we were unable to test other functions of the printer due to drivers or something not being installed. HP states this printer is Windows 7 compatible, but, it wasn't in my case. Perhaps it will work on other systems. We were using it on a Dell computer with 4 gigs of Ram and a 2.8 processor and 320 Gig hard drive. Computer is only 2 months old and had very little stored on it. I have now ordered a LexMark 805 and hope to have better results.

Just got this printer from Amazon. Crazy price! It arrived in a day (thanks, Amazon :) Slick set up! Love the Bluetooth and wireless. Only hiccup was setting up to print from another computer on different part of network separated by range extender - it worked itself out. I love the separate color print cartridges and can see the savings right away. I can't believe how great this P/S/C is for the price. I might just buy another one just for the heck of it. DON'T HESITATE! I am a Computer specialist and know what I'm talking about - not a newbie.

This printer is top notch for the money, have only had for a month but photo quality is nice and ease of use is amazing. Really like the 4x6 tray also, the printing quality on regular prints is great.- Only neg is there is lots of printer head movement(a little noisy).

I read some reviews before buying this printer and i couldn't be happier. the photo quality is simply amazing. I was thoroughly disappointed with our previous printer (not an HP) and the contrast between the 2 is stark.
The printer was easy to setup (Mac OS X). originally i did have it setup wirelessly but switched to the USB port.
I wish i could find this printer with a fax so i can get rid of my old MFD.

I wirelessly connected this to a laptop running windows 7. The installation was not a problem. I have had no recognition problems since. It does take about a minute to warm up but so what? The printing looks great and is faster than anything else I've used. I continue to buy HP products and I continue to be pleased with them.
