So Far so good March 17, 2010 Gary R. Bass (USA) I have only had it for one month but so far I like it quite well.
Not too shabby March 13, 2010 Christopher Bidwell Well, to start, I can't vouch for the longevity of this product because I haven't had it more than a month now. It was quite simple to set up and get the drivers installed. Print quality is outstanding and the speed wasn't too bad either (depending on the resolution of your print job). It is a bit noisy, but that goes without saying. Most ink-jets are noisy for the most part. The wifi was cake to set up. I really haven't used the scanner too much, but thus far, it seems to work nicely. I've got a Mac PowerPC laptop that it found and installed very easily. I've not used the fax feature yet.
Pros:
- Integrated WIFI
- Very easy to set up
- Outstanding print quality
- Comes with duplex unit (print front and back w/out having to touch your paper!)
Cons:
- It's a bit noisy
- Ink cartridges drain pretty quickly
Great Printer March 12, 2010 Nancy V. Matia (Naples, FL USA) This is a great all-in-one printer. I own two of them (different locations) and have not had any problems with either one.
Extremely Disappointed March 11, 2010 JohnInAnnapolis I am extremely disappointed in this printer. When I received it I attempted to print some photos. They were wet, badly smeared and almost unrecognizable. I used up half of my ink supply troubleshooting. In the end I went and bought some Epson photo paper and the prints turned out well. The paper I had been using worked OK on my HP printer. I contacted Epson during this process and got a nonsense answer that made me wonder if a human being had actually read my report. Next problem involved printing photos on genuine Epson premium photo paper. The photos were much darker than the image on the screen. Again I got a nonsense answer from Epson. This only happened with pictures containing a lot of snow. I know - it is probably an Adobe problem - but it did not occur on my HP. Problem 3 - I needed to print 100 copies on genuine Epson presentation paper (about the weight of card stock). The printer gave me about 100 error messages in the process (jam, out of paper or wrong paper size). I might get 1 to 3 copies and then another error report. At no time did I get an actual jam and at no time was I actually out of paper or have the wrong size paper. After retrying various techniques at least 100 times (depress start, turn off, reboot, take out paper, put in paper, change pper guide settings, etc.) I did get my 100 copies. It took me part of two days. This is not a cheap printer. It should work better and technical support should be better.
Great Printer March 11, 2010 K. Adkins (Arkansas) This is a great printer. The only complaint I have is, the ink is supposed to not run. I did some business cards, waited 4 days, ran water on it and it did run. Other than that it is wonderful and easy to set up.
